Like many new start-up companies, CM2 Marketing’s finances were extremely tight upon opening its doors. There simply were not available funds to finance an extra expenditure for its website. The company did what many do and used a simplistic template available from its web hosting provider.
“Besides the obvious problems with a simple template such as not having the capability to make design changes or create a compelling design, this template created marketing problems for our company,” said Lisa Whitley Coleman, CEO of CM2. “We are experienced at creating award-winning websites and compelling content but could not afford traditional routes to showcase those talents. Our experience was gained when we worked in-house with companies who had the budgets to hire web designers and developers we directed to create top-notch websites.”
For several months, CM2 searched for a solution until we met the perfect partner with which to arrange a services trade. Cornerstone BTI has an excellent website designer/developer on staff, Michelle LeBlanc. Michelle agreed to work with us to create a WordPress site while we updated Cornerstone’s content. Cornerstone is finishing up its new design with its fresh content, and expects to launch soon.
